The Trade Show Advantage Online is a highly interactive exhibit staff training
program that teaches booth workers the skills necessary to conduct successful
conversations at trade shows and customer events. Students will learn to:
- Identify attendees' goals, problems, and needs
- Present relevant information at the right technical level
- Qualify each sales opportunity
- Advance the buying and selling process
- Ensure that every person has a positive experience
Flexible
This course is offered on the Web, making it easily available
from any location at any time, and allowing employees to learn the material at
their own pace. They can even move from one location to another and
pick up right where they left off.
Learn by seeing and doing
Like the face-to-face version of this course, the Trade Show Advantage Online is
highly interactive. It offers many interactive exercises that help
people learn as they go, and quizzes at the end of each section to
help participants assess their learning. In addition to clear text
explanations of the material, the course includes video
re-enactments of event conversations so participants can see
appropriate and inappropriate ways to conduct
event conversations. Video interviews with real event attendees
help participants
understand what attendees are looking for when they visit a booth.
And those who prefer to listen rather than read can listen to audio
summaries of the slides.
Helpful resources
The course also offers several resources that participants can print
and take with them. A Preparation Checklist offers tips on what to do
to prepare before leaving for the event, and at the event but before
it begins. The Cheat Sheet offers a concise list of useful information
and suggestions of things to say. Each page has a short summary that
participants can save; at the end of the course, participants can print
out all of their summaries, giving them a customized review
of the course. Students
can also email questions about the course to the course providers and
receive a prompt response. When they have completed
the course, participants get an email confirmation with a course
completion certificate, and they may choose to have an email sent to
their manager to confirm that they have completed the course.
