The program focuses on practical communication skills unique to the show and event environment, using studio quality videos to show reenactments of in-booth sales situations. Additional video interviews with attendees stress the importance of the booth worker's role. The Trade Show Advantage® Online is extremely interactive, offering exercises for participants to learn by doing and giving immediate feedback on their contributions.

There are a variety of helpful tools, including a note taking component, a preparation checklist, audio summaries, and a 'cheat sheet' that can be printed and used during the show. Each section finishes with a quiz to help participants assess their knowledge levels. Upon successful completion of the course, each participant receives a certificate, and a confirmation email goes to the manager who is monitoring the success of the program.
